Choir practice began their new season September 7th at 7:30 PM. (Alto's and Soprano's are needed!") If you can commit to Wednesday night and Sunday mornings every week - and love to sing to our Lord - please come. You can count on lots of fellowship and you will be irreplaceably honoring our Lord and HBC!

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FUND

You can make a special donation to assist in funding the Board of Deacons Student Scholarship Fund. For many years this account has assisted student members of the congregation while engaged in special training or in higher education. Recently the scholarship fund has assisted many students with the ever increasing cost of higher education. Your special gifts are greatly appreciated to continue this fund to assist many more students in the future. THANKSGIVING 2010

The annual "Thanksgiving Dinner" was held November 14th following morning worship at HBC. Family and friends were invited to share in a variety of foods that included turkey, ham, pies, baked corn, vegetables, rolls and a host of unbelievable desserts. Everyone left with a full stomach and a huge smile on their face!

HOMECOMING 2010

September 12th, Hughesville Baptist Church celebrated its Homecoming with a Tureen Dinner. Invitations were sent to family and friends of HBC who no longer live in the area. The Lord provided a perfect day for fellowship, sharing and lots of smiles. And as we all know, the best "cooks" are found in church! Check out these pictures...

2010 CHOIR PARTY

The HBC choir met at the home of Richard and Arlene Strausser for a time of fellowship and fun. As you can see by the pictures, there was a huge assortment of delicious food to sample.
