In September 1890 the Rev. Joseph Crawford along with 9 people organized to form the Hughesville Baptist Church.  It was established to look after the interest of people living in the village of Hughesville.  Since then the church has grown quite a bit adding a new Christian Education wing in the 1950's and adding a Family Activity Center with added classroom space in 1987.  While appreciating our past, we look into the future with great expectancy knowing that God will continue to do great things in our community.
