Relay for Life:
Hughesville Baptist sponsored a Relay for Life Team. The East Lycoming Relay for Life was held on May 30th & 31st. Our team raised over $2,200.00 for the American Cancer Society.
SKILLED NURSING UNIT SERVICE
Hughesville Baptist participates in services at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit. The services are held at 2:00 PM on the second Sunday of the months of February, April, June, August, October and December. We are always in need of participants to help out. If you would like to participate please join us! Everyone is welcome!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
A shoebox ministry is underway at Hughesville Baptist Church. This ministry gives shoeboxes full of toys, hygiene items (ex. washcloths, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, etc.) to needy children all over the world. Operation Christmas Child is operated by the Samaritans Purse Organization. Last year they delivered over 8 MILLION boxes all around the globe!
Items such as hygiene products (but no liquids or lotions) can be donated. You can also give $$$$ to cover shipping - or to use toward the purchase of items for the boxes. Please do not donate "used" items, army toys, planting seeds or candy that would melt. Donations must be made by Nov. 15th.
