Hughesville Baptist Church is home for "Theo" a mischievous puppy! Kids ages 4 yrs through 4th grade are encouraged to take part in this weekly program. There are projects, story lessons, crafts, games, snacks - and of course a visit with "Theo!" And best of all.... you can start attending ANYTIME!
FaithWeaver Friends is a tried-and-true kids’ midweek program that is volunteer-friendly, kid-friendly and outreach-friendly! This exciting program allows church kids to grow closer to God through weekly Bible Points while they grow in their faith through friendships, apply Biblical learning through outreach and service opportunities, and make their faith their own through journaling.
Kids grow their faith through Friendships! Small-group “Circles of Friends” help kids build long-lasting relationships with God at the center. The opening celebration, music, lesson, snack and crafts all center around a weekly "Bible Point." In these manageable groups, no kid will feel out of place or left behind. FaithWeaver Friends® helps kids connect through Discovery Centers including the Make-It, Play-It, Learn-It and Snack-It Café stations, where the Bible Point is reinforced in a kid-friendly way.
FaithWeaver Friends encourages kids as they grow in their faith and service to others! How many kids’ programs are designed to help your kids learn what outreach is all about? FaithWeaver Friends® does exactly that by encouraging kids to apply each week’s Bible Point to their daily lives in ways that make sense to them. Children will be encouraged to participate in service projects and outreach that will help bring un-churched kids into the program!
Kids make their faith their own through Journaling! Hearing or reading about Bible lessons is a good start, but kids won’t really grasp life-changing truths until they can fully understand them. FaithWeaver Friends® helps teach kids a weekly Bible verse that applies directly to the Bible Point, and then each child gets a chance to write or draw out those lessons in their journals. The Bible Point is reinforced in a real and personal way. Watch as kids of all ages improve their social skills and gain better self-esteem through the closing activity of journaling!
