Relay for Life:
Hughesville Baptist sponsored a Relay for Life Team. The East Lycoming Relay for Life was held on May 30th & 31st. Our team raised over $2,200.00 for the American Cancer Society.
SKILLED NURSING UNIT SERVICE
Hughesville Baptist participates in services at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit. The services are held at 2:00 PM on the second Sunday of the months of February, April, June, August, October and December. We are always in need of participants to help out. If you would like to participate please join us! Everyone is welcome!
FAMILY OF GOD SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS: Our Christmas project this year was to help ACCION International provide small loans for hardworking families so they can work their way out of poverty. Since 1992 ACCION’S programs have served over 4.7 million clients and disbursed more than 7.6 billion dollars in loans to poor people in 23 countries. 97% of the loans have been repaid on time. We collected $215.00 to go towards this project. Thank you to everyone that donated!
